Important information for your customers who might be running some older Software on the computers they bring to you: Microsoft is officially ending their support of Microsoft Office 2007.  Microsoft has outlined the ‘roadmap’ for upgrading and end of life.

So what does that mean for your customers?  Customers will no longer be able to download Office 2007 from Microsoft, so it’s important that they upgrade their suite prior to doing any sort of file transfers.  Realistically, even if they aren’t doing any sort of transfer, upgrading is definitely in their best interests to keep up with the latest and greatest technology and security updates.

So what to upgrade to?  Really, that’s between you and your customers.  As to be expected, Microsoft recommends everyone to upgrade to the latest and greatest Office 365, but support still exists for Office 2010.  Make sure to discuss with your customers what option works best for them!
