When you have a walk-in customer, they’re there for immediate PC help. A FreshStart may solve all of their problems, but they might not want to wait for the Kit to come in. Now, you can offer an even faster solution: on-the-spot FreshStart imaging!
To image drives, all you need is a service PC and a drive dock so you can customize drives on demand. If you have a store with hard drive inventory, you can help your customer choose a drive off the shelf that best fits their PC’s needs, and image it right then and there. No more waiting for the Kit to arrive—as soon as the drive has been imaged, you can start the FreshStart process, which means you can offer same-day or next-day FreshStart services.
Got a DIY customer? Offer to image their new hard drive for a slight fee so they can perform a FreshStart on their own! Let them know of any additional supplies they can purchase you’re your store to get the job done, such as a SATA cord, a case for their old hard drive, or an electronics screwdriver.

Ready to buy some keys? Head over to our CyberSpa store. There, you can purchase keys in quantities of 10, 50, and 100. When you buy 50 keys, you get a 10% discount, and 100 keys is a 20% discount!
Once you’ve completed your order, we will email you your new keys. We’ll also make sure that you have the required imaging software and Imaging Guide so you can setup your service PC and imaging station. Once that’s in place, you’re all set to start offering customized FreshStart services!
We don’t stop there, though. As you know, Microsoft usually pushes for big patches on its various Windows operating systems at least once a month, if not more frequently. We want to make sure that you and your customers have the most up to date version of Windows and other software available, so we’ll send you monthly updates for your FreshStart images. These updates are usually between 8-12 GB, and are available for all the FreshStart versions we offer.
Setup and required materials for imaging a FreshStart drive are minimal. All you need is a drive dock and a service PC. The process will work with any drive dock. Your service PC should have:
- Windows 7 or later
- At least 2 GB of RAM
- At least a dual core processor
- At least one USB port to connect the drive dock
- 150GB of free drive space on the service PC to host the FreshStart WIM images
The imaging process will work on any hard drive larger than 200 MB, so if you have a wide selection of drives available, your customer can choose the one that works best for their computer.
